Paul C. Ward

Paul C. Ward, 77, of Stewartstown passed away on October 2, 2022.

Paul was the husband of the late Verna W. (Mack) Ward, sharing 46 years of marriage.

Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Ida J. (Clawson) Zabreski and Jacob Zabreski.

He is survived by two children Debbie Grove and her husband Mike and Bill Ward and his wife Lindsey; a grandson Colin Grove; sister -in- law, Deb Zoller and her husband Terry; nieces and nephews: Madi Wenger and her husband Brandon, Michala Zoller and her fiancé Luke Trice, Bobby Shape and Chris Shape; a great niece, Thea Wenger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Verna, and sister, Joan Powers.

Paul graduated from Overlea Senior High School; Class of 1963. He proudly served in United States Marine Corps from July 1963- July 1967. He worked as a truck driver for Baltimore County Public Schools from 1970-2005, retiring after 35 years of service.

He enjoyed playing cards, trains, visits to the Casino with his wife, and was a Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson Colin.

Viewings will be held on Thursday, October 6 ^th from 6:00 – 8:00pm and on Friday, October 7 ^th from 9:00 – 11:00am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc.; 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown, PA 17363. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Stewartstown, PA 17363.
