Pearl Absher

Pearl Absher, 96, of Red Lion, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in High Rock, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Marian (Anderson) Tollinger.

Pearl worked for Superior Mold / Key Plastics and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Red Lion. She cared deeply, and had a passion for travel and adventure. Whether dressed in the latest fashion or sitting on the floor playing with her great-grandchildren, Pearl will be remembered for her quick wit, strong will, and fierce love for her family.

She is survived by her two children Edward Absher (Dorothy) and Cheryl Herman; seven grandchildren Rachel, Samuel, Kate, Troy, Adam, Michelle and Chanda; 16 great grandchildren; and sibling Bernice L. Miller. She is preceded in death by her two sons Ronald and Gary Absher, son-in-law Robert Herman and two siblings Howard Tollinger and Margaret Bassford.

There will be a viewing on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St. Stewartstown, PA 17363. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
