Pearl Bosley Grove

Pearl Bosley Grove, 73, of York passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Pastor James Ralph Grove who passed away in 2013. Born in Millers, Maryland she was a daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln Bosley and Irma (Keeny) Bosley. Pearl graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and along with her late husband started Souls Haven Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing and being very active with her church family. She also enjoyed sewing, painting and will be missed by her family and friends. Pearl is survived by her son Jonathan D. Grove and his companion Beth Ellis of Red Lion; two grandchildren Noah and Nolan Grove and two siblings Charles Bosley of Pylesville and Peggy Doster of Shrewsbury. She was preceded in death by two brothers Raymond and James Bosley. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 12PM from Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. Interment will follow in the New Freedom Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of her service at the funeral home.
