Peggy Ann Thomas

On Thursday, January 02, 2020, Peggy A. (Bollinger) Thomas, 78, passed away in York.She was the devoted wife of Kenneth L. Thomas for 56 years.Peggy was born on February 13, 1941 in New Freedom to the late Leroy Bollinger and Christine (Keeney) Bollinger-Stake. She graduated in 1959 from Susquehannock High School.Peggy was a former employee of the Glen Rock State Bank, then became the tax collector for New Freedom.She was a great housewife that cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her husband, Kenneth; three sons, Andrew Thomas and wife Karen, Michael Thomas and wife Eula, and Matthew Thomas and wife Bridget; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and one sister, June Good.She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Ronald Good. A memorial service will begin at 1pm on Saturday, January 11, at Mason-Dixon Baptist Church, 713 Campbell Road, New Freedom, PA 17349.Pastor Terry Felton will officiate.Interment will follow in New Freedom Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the Mason-Dixon Baptist Church at the address above.
