Phyllis Ann Mcdearmon

Phyllis Ann McDearmon, 74, of Morehead City, NC passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Carteret Landing Nursing Home in Morehead City, NC. She was the wife of the late Kenneth McDearmon. Born in Johnson City, TN she was a daughter of the late L.C. and Glenna Josephine (Shepherd) Smith. Phyllis loved cooking, sewing and enjoyed music ministry and was very family oriented. She also received her real estate license and was an ordained minister. She is survived by three daughters Trisha Ann, wife of Bruce Durand, Rommi L., wife of Chaplain Rene Kinard and Angela Ruby Shue and fiancé Nick Rader; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step-children Greg McDearmon, Christine Thompson and Lori Goodman; andfour step-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister Brenda Smith. Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family officiated by Chaplain Rene Kinard with assistance by Rev. Dr. Kay M.
