On Thursday, December 29, 2016, Pricey Helen Hopkins, 70, died at her home in New Freedom. She was the companion of Donald B. Wilson. She was born on November 30, 1946 in Eiola, Ky. to the late Shelby Ray and Olga Castle (Engle) Hampton. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, but most of all, spending time with her family at family get-togethers. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Scott Hopkins and wife, Jean Mae, and James Curtis Hopkins; grandchildren, Bridgette Leigh Reed, Jonathan James Hopkins and Shawn Curtis Hopkins; one great-grandson, Jayden Alexander Hopkins; siblings, Newell Reed Hampton, Lena Carol Stallard and Brenda Dale Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Damon K. Hopkins; and siblings, Joyce Anita Sewell and Royce Ray Hampton.
