Rebecca L. Raras

Rebecca L. Raras, 49, of Maryland passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at home. Born in Baltimore, MD she was a daughter of Thomas C. Nitsch and Josephine (Grace) Wilke. Becky graduated with her bachelor’s degree in accounting and worked as a settlement officer in the real estate industry. She loved to read and spend time with her family. Becky was a giving, loving and kind person who put others before herself and was a wonderful and devoted mother and daughter. She loved to tell stories and enjoyed being the life of the party. Becky was a successful, hardworking business woman in the real estate business and made many friends and colleagues over the years. She loved the Lord and was best friends with all her sisters. Becky will be missed by all who knew and interacted with her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children Lance A. Woody and Sarayia R. Woody of Railroad; four sisters Dora, wife of Andy Garrett, Joyce, wife of Robert Harthauser, Rebecca, wife of Richard Kesterson and Minda, wife of Gary Dujack; one brother Raymond C. Wilke, Jr. and wife Stephanie; many nieces and nephews. Becky was preceded in death by her step-mother Virginia C. Mitchell-Nitsch. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
