Rebecca Ann “Penny” Shisler

Rebecca Ann “Penny” Shisler, 65, of Freeland, MD passed on March 13, 2022. Penny was born on March 29, 1956 in York, PA.She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Edward and Dellie Miller; her parents, Harvey L. Tracey and Gertrude L. (Miller) Phillips and her brother, Edlee Tracey. Penny worked as a beautician for many years and most recently at Crescent Industries. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, talking on the porch with her neighbors and watching movies. She loved soaking up the sun especially while visiting the beach. To her family’s dismay, she was a proud fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Penny is survived by her two children Lisa J. Russell and her husband Bill, and Tina L. Lowe; cherished grandchildren Jordyn Ward, Tanner Russell, and Madison Russell; a brother, Lou Phillips; niece, McKenzie Tracey; nephew, Levi Tracey and his wife, Kathy;two great nieces and a nephew, Alexis, Allison, and Charles Tracey; and numerous aunts and cousins. A Viewing will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St. New Freedom, PA 17349. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.A post-funeral reception will be held.
