Richard "Rick" L. Morris

Remembering the life, death, and legacy of retired police officer, Richard Morris. Richard “Rick” Morris, 67, of Stewartstown, PA, while surround by loved ones, passed away peacefully at Wellspan York Hospital on Friday, December 14, 2018. Born in Baltimore in 1951, he is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Catherine Morris, sister Susan Morris, and wife Mary Morris. Rick dedicated and committed his life to helping others.He spent over 20 years working as a police officer with Baltimore County. After that, he went on to spend another 20 plus years working for Harford County Department of Human Services as a Child Support Enforcement Officer. During his time away from work, Rick was highly active in civil war reenactments, loved to ride his motorcycle, take road trips, and fish. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sherri and Duke Warner and their daughter Kelsi who reside in Wyoming; brother David Morris; and his girlfriend Sharon Ellwood. Services will be scheduled at a later date in the new year.
