Rivers J. Bostic

Rivers J. Bostic, 90, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was the loving husband of Margaret (Boyd) Bostic and they would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on May 16, 2021. Born in Beulaville, NC, Rivers was a son of the late Rushin and Lucretia (Mobley) Bostic. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard, dedicated twenty two years with the Esskay Meat Company, then retired after 20 years as a transport driver in the mobile construction industry.Rivers was a devoted husband and loving father that valued his family above all. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Ron Bostic and his wife, Debbie of Wake Forest, NC, Dan Bostic of Rising Sun, Maryland, Charles Bostic of Maryland, and Debrah Alvey, wife of Jerry of Hellam, PA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Joyce and Jeweldeen.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Bostic, and a grandchild, Anthony Bostic, as well as three sisters and two brothers.
