Robert (Bob) Davis, 80, Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Outdoorsman-
Bob, 80, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William J. and Marie A. (Viertel) Davis. A devoted father to his two sons, Scott (Amy) and Sean (Amanda); and a proud grandfather to Zach, Cooper, Bailey, and Grant; and two brothers, Sonny (Linda) and Phil(Nancy). He is also survived by his sons’ mother, Marina. Bob’s greatest joy was found in the company of his family.
He is also survived by his companion of 35 years, Patricia Rehmeyer; her two children, Kelly Silk and Patti Cohn (Douglas); and their children, Christopher and Shane Silk and Carli Cohn.
Bob graduated from the University of Baltimore in 1967 with an accounting degree. His career spanned several decades in public accounting and real estate finance, retiring in 2018. In addition, he served as a guardsman in the Maryland National Guard.
An avid outdoorsman, Bob’s life was defined by his passion for nature and the thrill of the hunt. Whether fly fishing in quiet streams, skeet shooting, or hunting waterfowl and upland game, he found solace and joy in the great outdoors. His love for these pursuits was more than a hobby—it was a way of life he shared with those around him.
Known for his warmth, humor, and generosity, Bob’s stories and laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His adventurous spirit and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Services and interment will be private per Bob’s wishes.
