Robert N. Fair

Robert N. “Bob” Fair, Sr., 85, passed away peacefully at his home on September 19, 2020. He was the loving husband of Mary B.L. (Fidler) Fair with whom he shared more than 65 years of marriage. Robert was born in 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland to William A. Fair and Rena Estel (McClure) and was one of three children. After high school Bob honorably served his country in the United States Navy. After his service time, Robert was a union electrician and a member of IBEW Local 24. He will be fondly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his wife Mary, Bob is survived by his 4 children: Carolyn Arleen McNulty and her husband John of Fawn Grove PA, Robert Nelson Fair Jr. and his wife Carla of York PA, David Lee Fair and his wife Stacy of Port Deposit MD, and Bruce Wayne Fair of Shrewsbury PA, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Vernon Fair. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family including military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society in memory of Robert at 405 Williams Ct., Middle River, MD 21220.
