Robert Joseph Farese

Robert Joseph Farese, 76, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Mon. October 25, 2021. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on March 20, 1945.He was raised by his grandmother, Anna Farese. He was the husband of Linda Marguerite (Schmid) Farese, sharing 54 years of marriage. Robert was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1964-1968. He completed courses at Catonsville Community College and Penn State (York Campus).He worked as a Quality Assurance Auditor in the pharmaceutical field for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and member of the American Society for Quality. He enjoyed snow skiing and golf. In addition to his wife he is survived by his brother and sister in laws, Charles and Barbara Schmid, three nieces, six great nieces and nephews and six great-great nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Fred Horn as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, MD.
