Robert Clyde Grove

Robert Clyde Grove passed away on January 2, 2023. He was born in York, PA, to the late Paul and Iona (McFatridge) Grove. Robert was the loving husband of 56 years to M. Ruth (Kiser) Grove.

Bob was an Army veteran who upon his return from service, worked at Duplex Products for over 20 years. He retired from Frigid Coil after 20 years of service, as a laborer. Bob enjoyed working on the farm with his brother, Gene, and tinkering in his yard with lawn mowers. Bob was a true homebody, who loved and cherished his family. His twin grand daughter’s were his “Ray’s of sunshine”.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter’s, Mary Grove, Ann Taylor, and Dawn Kupisch and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Robert Grove, Cooper Kupisch, Madison and Zoe Taylor; he was preceded in death by his siblings; P. Eugene Grove and M. Louise Leland.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10:00 am- 11:00 am at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA, 17349. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, with interment in the Joseph Giesey Cemetery, Highland Dr. South, Shrewsbury, PA 17361.
