Robert Jesse Mcallister

Robert Jesse McAllister passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2022. He was born on May 25, 1936 in York, PA to the late Jesse S. and Margaret E. (Torbert) McAllister. Bob worked for 33 years as a welder in the refrigeration industry until his retirement at age 80.He was a hunter in his younger years and an avid outdoorsman. Bob traveled extensively with his dear friend, Ike. He was a member of Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarene and loved spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his dear sister in law, Pat A. McAllister; loving nieces and nephews, Terry L. Moran, Lori A. Pinko, Kenneth L. McAllister (Christine), Deborah Hagen, and William J. McAllister (Carey); 8 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great niece; he was predeceased by his siblings, Kenneth L. McAllister, Donald P. McAllister, and Margaret K. McAllister. A public viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 25th, at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main Street, Stewartstown, PA 17363. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with interment immediately following in Prospect Cemetery, 8 Orchard Park Rd. New Park, PA 17352. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarene, 5300 Fawn Grove Rd, Pylesville, MD 21132.
