Ronald Edward Campbell

Ron E. Campbell, 55, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. Born in Baltimore, MD, Ron was the son of Frances J. (Rose) Campbell and the late Andrew D. Campbell whom passed away on March 13, 2014. He is the husband of Carolyn H. (Lynch) Campbell whom he married on May 30, 1992, celebrating 25 happy years together. Ron was the co-owner of Harrington Body Shop in Rising Sun, MD for 15 years. He was the owner of Harrington Auto Sales, LLC in Port Deposit, MD for 8 months and owner of Matt Campbell Racing LLC, in Fawn Grove. He had a passion for Sprint Car Racing his entire life and was a huge Steelers fan, “Six Time World Champs.” Ron loved spending time with his family and his racing family. He also loved his dogs and his cat. Surviving in addition to his mother, Frances, and wife, Carolyn, are two sons, Michael A. Campbell and Matthew J. Campbell; a sister, Terry Coster and her husband, Bill; nieces & nephews, Ross and his wife, Brittany, Chad and his wife, Lauren, Sarah and her husband, Derrick, Jesse and his wife, Heather, Jordan Lynch, Jennifer and her husband, Mike, Danielle and her husband, Blake; and many other family members to cherish his memory. There will be a viewing celebrating Ron’s life from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00pm, Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. There will be a service at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
