Ronald F. Chapman

Ronald F. Chapman, Jr., 57, died June 14, 2016. He was the husband of Christine C. (Yeager) Chapman. There will be a visitation from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 pm. Pastor Carl Redding will officiate. Interment is private and at the convenience of his family. Born November 24, 1958, in Charlotte, NC, Ronald was the son of the late Ronald F. Chapman, Sr. and the late Lori (Callahan) Chapman Lutter. He served in the U.S. Army and was formerly employed at Rehmeyer Wood Floors in Shrewsbury. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Kyle N. Chapman of York, and Colby A. Chapman of Wrightsville; a stepmother, Diane M. (Starner) Chapman of New Freedom; a brother, Greg Chapman of Middletown; a sister, Tina Chapman Wolbert of Oil City; two stepsisters, Dana Stein Jones and Greta Kerner, and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Aughenbaugh.
