Ronald P. Farinetti, 64, of Shrewsbury passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at WellSpan York Hospital after months of battling illnesses. He was the loving husband of Sharon L. (Cross) Farinetti to whom he was married 36 years. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma he was a son of the late Joseph and Anne (Hlobic) Farinetti. Ronald graduated with his degree in criminology and was a proud Baltimore County Police Officer for 35 years prior to his retirement. Following retirement he worked at Freedom Armory where he could enjoy his love of firearms and archery. Ron loved history and was constantly immersed in a good book and passed down his love of literature to his children. Ron’s great joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren whom he adored. Ron was a loving and fierce friend to many. In addition to his wife Sharon, he is survived by three children Megan, wife of Dan Dolan, John Farinetti, and Morgan Farinetti and Fiancé Bobby Broadwater; five grandchildren Ryley, Lily, Daniel, Patrick, and Nellie; two siblings Joann, wife of Vic Sudano and Chris Farinetti and his wife Janice. Ronald was preceded in death by four siblings Joseph, John, Raymond and Trisha. Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.
