Ronald F. Thomas

Ronald F. Thomas, 84, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carlotta L. Thomas. Viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 6 at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mortuary, with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon United Methodist Cemetery, White Hall, MD. Born February 14, 1934, in Baltimore, Ronald was the son of the late Raymond F. and Annie Mae (Wright) Thomas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the EPA in mid 1990's with over 25 years of service. Previously he was employed with the Food and Drug Administration. Ronald is survived by a son, Michael F. Thomas and his wife, Shelly; a daughter, Patricia A. Thomas Laemonte and her husband, Keith; three grandchildren, Zachary, Kayli and Colin.
