Ronald W. Thornton

Ronald W. Thornton, 61, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He is survived by his brother Michael A. Thornton and his wife Melissa. Born in Baltimore, MD, Ronald was the son of the late John Ross and Etta Mae (Harris) Thornton, who preceded him in death. Ronald graduated from Susquehannock High School, class of 1981. He continued his education by taking electronic classes at York County School of Technology and later attended Penn State University. Ronald worked for 32 years as a supervisor with the H.A.R.T. Center in New Oxford. He enjoyed lifting weights, hunting, mathematics, attending church and reading the bible. A memorial service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
