Ronald A. Troutman, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, December 13, 2016, as a result of injuries sustained in a logging accident. He was the husband of Connie Mae (Mitchell) Troutman and they celebrated 59 years of marriage. There will be a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. Interment will be private. Ron was born on November 20, 1938, in Millersburg, a son of the late Allen E. and Geraldine (Kreiner) Troutman. He was a carpenter by trade, owning and operating his own small business for many years. He enjoyed golfing and softball, as well as gardening and landscaping. He took great pleasure in spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Ronda L. Scotten, and her husband Kenneth of New Park, Allen B. Troutman of Huron, SD, Alicia A. Hensley, and her husband Steve of Red Lion, and Ryan D. Troutman, and his wife Melissa of Felton; seven grandchildren, Kenton A., Kasey L., and Sharla R. Scotten, Summer M. and Grant L. Hensley, and Brady D. and Gavin M. Troutman; one great grandchild, Addison K. Scotten; two sisters, Judy Hall, White Hall, MD, and Gloria Snyder, Shrewsbury; and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by a brother, Richard E. Troutman.
