Roy Eugene Bosley

Roy Eugene Bosley, 51, passed away after a brief illness on February 10, 2023. He was born in York, PA, on June 27, 1971, to the late Richard Eugene Bosley and Virginia Mae (Hess) Sterner. Roy was a hard worker growing up; he mowed grass, shoveled sidewalks, took out the trash and would do just about anything for his neighbors and community. Roy loved to collect soda cans and enjoyed watching older television shows.

Roy was a Front-End Associate at Giant in Shrewsbury, PA, for 30 plus years, starting his career in 1992. During his time at Giant, he became a friend and family member to all of his associates and customers. He received multiple compliments, earning him Associate of the Month, twice, and Associate of the Year, once.  His associates said it was “Their privilege to know and love him.” He will be remembered as a sweet, loving, kind, and helpful man, and will be dearly missed by all.

Roy is survived by his mother, Virginia Mae Sterner; sister, Mary L. Sprouse; nephews, David, Nathan, Matthew, and Samuel Sprouse. He had many uncles, aunts and cousins.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Rd., Glen Rock, PA, 17327 on Saturday, February 25th, at 11:00 am.
