Roy J. Chittum

Spring Grove- Roy J. Chittum, Jr. died Wednesday May 26, 2021. He was the loving husband of 41 years to Donna M. (Simpson) Chittum. Born in Roanoke, VA to the late Roy J. Chittum, Sr. and Gardenia (Brown) Chittum, he grew up in Roanoke, VA and later moved to Pennsylvania.In Pennsylvania, he would meet and marry the love of his life, Donna. They eventually settled into Spring Grove, PA where they would raise 2 sons, Roy D. Chittum (Anne) of California and Brandon Chittum (Sarah) of West Virginia. Roy worked as a truck driver in the freight division of Federal Express and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the VFW Auxiliary.He was often times found fixing and tinkering with things around his home and especially loved to boat and crab in his free time. Along with his wife and sons, he is survived by his sister, Rita Forbes; grandson, Maximus A. Claudio; and his two white Chihuahuas, Majestic Nelson and MoMo.He was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
