Ruth Etta Baker

Ruth Etta Baker, 85, of Hanover, formerly of Glen Rock, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Donald Eugene Baker Sr. who died in 2005. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Ruth (Burke) Hensell. She graduated from Hereford High School Class of 1955 and later owned and operated a dairy farm for many years with her husband. She also worked at C&P Telephone in Towson, Maryland. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are four children, Norma Jean Bosley and her husband, Marvin, Sharon Smith and her husband, Lynn, Donald Eugene Baker Jr. and his wife, Kim, and Jo Ann Baker-Lucabaugh and her husband, Shaun Lucabaugh; seven grandchildren, Jacob Smith and his wife, Ashley, Joshua Smith and his wife, Kelly, Michael Bosley and his wife, Elizabeth, Luke, Lee, and Lane Baker, and Levi Lucabaugh; and four great grandchildren, Hayley, Kylie, Savannah, and Sadie Smith; and sister, Regenia Cramer, and her husband, Ken.
