Ruth Delores Bond

Ruth Delores Bond, 84, passed away on August 10, 2022 in York, PA. She was born on March 20 ^th , 1938, in Freeland, MD to the late Edward Benson Bond and Thelma Susanna (Sparks) Bond.

Ruth was a native and resident of Freeland, MD. She graduated from South Baltimore General Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Ruth was employed for 9 years at Children’s Hospital and Baltimore County General Hospital in Randallstown. She was also a member of Rayville United Methodist Church. Ruth loved her cats and spending time with family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 18 ^th from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 S. Second Street, New Freedom, PA 17349.  A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with interment immediately following in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery, 19401 Middletown Rd., Parkton, MD 21120. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 19401 Middletown Rd., Parkton, MD 21120.
