Sandra Sheffer

Sandra “Sandy” (Doxzen) Seitz Sheffer, 80 of Shrewsbury passed away at Wellspan York Hospital on Tuesday January 14, 2020. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Sheffer. Sandra was born to Thomas and Audrey (Anderson) Doxzen in Shrewsbury, PA. She was a graduate of Kennard-Dale High School, class of 1957. She enjoyed farming with her late husband, and spending time with family. Sandy is survived by her children Gregory Seitz, Tamara Bosley, and Randy Sheffer; grandchildren Brandon Miller, Rachel Bosley, and Adam Bosley; a great-grandson Gavyn Miller; 4 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and two loving cats Jack and Jill. She is preceded in death by her late husband Richard, and her loving canine companion Clyde. A viewing will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2020 from 11 AM until a service begins at 12 PM at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. Brother John Napp will be officiating the funeral service at the funeral home, and the committal service to follow at Stewartstown Cemetery.
