Sandra L. Murphy Simmons

Sandra L. Murphy Simmons, 78, passed from this life on Friday, July 15, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Patrick Murphy who died in 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD, Sandra was the daughter of the late Carl D. and Charlisa (Barrett) Wooten. Sandra had worked for GM in Dundalk, MD, for many years. She enjoyed fishing, BINGO, and was quite the shopper. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are two children, Jerome Nelson, Jr. and Sherry Nelson; 8 grandchildren; and a brother, Tony Wooten. Sandra was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Santelli, a son, B. Keith Nelson, and siblings, Dennis and Bill Wooten, and Peggy Moore. Services will be announced at a later date. Interment is private and at the convenience of her family.
