Shane A. Brent

Shane Alan Brent, 30, of York, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on October 17, 2021. He was born May 27, 1991 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of Bud and Donna (Rigdon) Thrift and Alan Brent. Shane was passionate about his children and family. He attended the Bible Baptist Church in York, PA. He had many interests and hobbies including motorcycle riding, going the beach, playing video games, fishing, and listening to music. He worked for Clark Machine Corp and his goal was to complete his certification for welding.Shane was so much fun and brought love and joy to everyone around him.We will mourn his passing, but celebrate the man he was and cherish the memories. In addition to his parents; he is survived by his three loving children, Madison, Lila and Asher Brent; his brother, Adam Thrift and sister, Jessica Vonstein. He is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 25thfrom 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Cares, Inc., 24 N. Second Street, New Freedom, PA 17349.
