Sharon Kim Cawkwell

Sharon Kim Cawkwell, 64, passed from this life on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas Burnham and Barbara Louise (Collins) Burnham Jones Buckland. Sharon attended Northern High School in Baltimore, Maryland. As a young woman, she worked for TASCO (telephone answering service) as an operator and supervisor. Prior to her retirement in 2019, she worked as a plumbing dispatcher for Calvert Plumbing and Heating. Sharon’s love of animals was a priority in her life. She also loved the Baltimore Ravens and Maryland seafood, especially steamed crabs. Sharon’s Will requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to No Kill animal shelters or the Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz, PA. Surviving is her sister, Barbara Burnham Lopez, a half-sister, Elizabeth Dawn Runions, a half-brother, David Thomas Burnham, nieces, Courtney Coleman and Brooke Squires, and nephews, Connor Burnham and Aidan Burnham.In honoring Sharon’s wishes, there will be no services. Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. is assisting the family with the arrangements.
