Sharon A. Dalton

Sharon A. Dalton, 78, of Stewartstown, passed away Saturday, August 26. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter to the late Gilbert P. and Mary E. (Kerner) Adelhardt. She was the loving wife of the late Carl F. Dalton.

Sharon loved photography, writing, and history. She rode horses and was a member of the Elkridge-Harford Hunt Club. She loved all animals, especially cats. Sharon absolutely adored West Virginia and had a home there for many years.  She also looked forward to meeting her dear friends for lunches. They were always a highlight for her.

Sharon is survived by 1 son, Sean C. Dalton and wife Heather; 1 grandson, Cameron S. Dalton; and 1 brother, Brian Adelhardt. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A public visitation will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, September 9 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. 24 N. 2nd Street, New Freedom, PA 17349. A memorial service will begin at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a local animal shelter of your choosing.
