Sharon Lynn Doll (Stiffler)

Sharon “Sherry” Lynn (Stiffler) Doll, 51, of Stewartstown, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24th, at home. Sharon was born in Baltimore, MD on August 23, 1964, a daughter of the late Ruth Ann “Judy” Heath and the late Robert “Bobby” Eugene Stiffler. Sharon attended Hereford High School in Monkton, MD and was very proud to earn her GED in later years. On August 24, 1985 she married John Doll. They shared 30 years of marriage and three beautiful daughters. Although Sharon spent time working in retail management, for the last 15 years she devoted her time and care to being a homemaker. She truly lived life to the fullest by enjoying life's simple pleasures: chatting with friends, yard sales and bingo, going out to dinner...and finding the best dessert. Sharon was loving and devoted to her family and friends, especially her husband, daughters and grandchildren, who were her whole world. Her beautiful life and amazing spirit will forever be remembered by her husband, John, of Stewartstown, her children Jessica Stiffler, of Kingsport, TN, Stephanie Whitehouse, and husband Chris, of York Haven, PA, Jennifer Doll, of Baltimore, MD; sister Bonnie Sue Arendt, and husband Mike, of Glen Rock, PA; grandchildren Devin, Reagan, Zachary and Sydney; many nieces and nephews; as well as two beloved granddogs, Keesha and Cody. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 29th from 7 pm to 9 pm at at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 30th at 7 pm at the same location, with cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Flowers and plants can be sent toJ.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
