Sherry Lynn Winand

Sherry Lynn Winand passed away on March 19, 2022. She was the loving wife for over 44 years to the late Arlen G. Winand. Sherry was born in York, PA on April 29, 1951 to the late J. Donald Young and Pauline L. (Mellinger) Young. Sherry worked as a secretary for many years for an automobile dealership. She was a member of the Daughter’s of America in New Freedom, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, and above all else, loved and cherished her family. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Sherry is survived by her loving son, Jason A. Winand and his wife, Dana, of Altoona, PA; adoring grandchildren, Ashley Wyatt (Nathaniel), Brady Winand, and Robert Grove;sweet great grandchildren, Asher and Emberlyn Wyatt;brother’s, Stephen T. Young (Darlene) and Kirk Young (Debbie); she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlen G. Winand and her son, Justin Y. Winand. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. in the New Freedom Cemetery, Campbell Rd., New Freedom, PA 17349.
