Sondra Dressel O'Brien

Sondra Dressel O’Brien, 81, of Shrewsbury, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born in Catonsville, Baltimore County, MD, on October 5, 1940 to the late, Charles Galloway Chambers and Phyllis Eloise “Ellie” (Bramhall) Chambers. Sondra was the loving wife of Terrence Patrick O’Brien of Shrewsbury. In addition to her husband; Sondra is survived by her three sons: Del Dressel, Jr. and his wife, Jacqueline, John Dressel and his fiancé, Kari Anderson, and Mark Dressel and his wife, Nicole; nine grandchildren: Jackson Dressel, Emmie Dressel, Lily Dressel, Drew Dressel, Kristin Dressel, Caitlin Dressel, Emily Dressel, Alexander Zeh and Ethan Zeh, as well as two great grandchildren; Charlie and Mason Ross; two sisters, Phyllis Patteson and Charlene Ragland and her husband, Robert; brother, Gregory Chambers and his wife, Carla. Sondra graduated from Catonsville High School and attended Bard Avon Secretarial School. She worked as legal secretary and executive assistant; retiring in 2013. Sondra enjoyed spending time with family; and watching her children and grandchildren participate in athletics. She loved reading, drawing, painting, skiing and tennis. Sondra was beautiful both inside and out. Her warmth, kindness, generosity, and wisdom will be missed by those who knew and loved her. No services are scheduled at this time.
