Steven G. Buttner

Steven G. Buttner, 69, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. He was the husband of the late Karen Heintz Buttner who passed away in 2016.

Steven was born April 12, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Edelbert and Mary Catherine (Riley) Buttner. He served in the United States Navy, the Submarine Service and served in the Maryland Army National Guard during which he was sent to Bosnia in 1994. Steven was a mechanical engineer working with several Engineering companies in conjunction with the Department of Defense. His hobbies included woodworking, collecting HO model trains, and astronomy.

He is survived by his brother Rev. Michael Buttner, sister-in-law Linda Buttner, nieces Amelia and Leah, nephew Christopher and nephews-in-law Gregory and Craig and a great niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Timothy Buttner (2018).
