Steven J. Posedenti, Sr.

Steven Joseph Posedenti, Sr. passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Steven was born in Baltimore Maryland to Gail (Sprucebank) Posedenti and the late Joseph John Posedenti, Jr.

Steven was a huge sports fan, watching football, baseball, and both watching and playing golf. He also loved music. Listening to and playing Rock music was his favorite. He enjoyed live music and playing the guitar. Steven was known to never miss out on a good meal. He loved food, eating out, and especially a good, home-cooked meal. Steven worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration for 28 years before retiring. Steven was a beloved son, devoted brother and will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.

Steven is survived by his mother Gail Posedenti; and sister, Sharon Heater and her husband Chuck; nieces and nephews Shannon Posedenti and husband Evan Sharp, Garret Posedenti, Jared Posedenti, and Shelby Heater. He is also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his son Steven Joseph Posedenti, Jr.; brother, Scott Posedenti; and niece, Bailey Heater.

Friends and family are invited to attend a public viewing Monday, February 20, 2023, from 1-4 pm at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. located at 24 N. 2 ^nd St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following day February 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM with interment taking place at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
