Steven R. Schuman

On Saturday, December 1, 2018, Steven R. Schuman, 65, passed away at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore.He was the husband of Deborah (Bowman) Schuman for 35 years.He was born on August 17, 1953 in York to the late Raymond E. and Ethel L. (Fletcher) Schuman.He attended high school at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf at Mt. Airy in Philadelphia.Before retiring after 35 years, he was a dedicated employee for the US Government. In his spare time, he was an avid sports fan and was also a standout bowler. He is survived by his wife and three children, Roger, Douglas and Michelle Schuman. A public viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:30am on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 12pm at the HISTORIC St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution, New Freedom.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Rev. Robert A.
