Stuart L. Hendrix

Stuart (Stu) L. Hendrix, 84, of New Freedom, passed from this life on Monday, January 8, 2024. He was the loving husband of Connie (Cameron) Hendrix. They celebrated 65 years of marriage in November 2023. Born in Freeland, MD, he was the son of the late Walter and Alverta (Masemore) Hendrix.

He retired from AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD as a Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering after 42 years of service.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 5 children, Tony Hendrix and Terry Caruccio, both of New Freedom, Greg Hendrix and his spouse Theresa Haller and Gary Hendrix and his spouse Gina, all of New Freedom, and Bryan Hendrix and his spouse Connie of Freeland, MD; 6 grandchildren, Trevin Caruccio, Danielle Webster, Travis Hendrix, Sara Hendrix, Dalton Hendrix, and Brynn Hendrix; 2 great grandchildren, Xander and Dominick Webster; and a brother, Robert Hendrix and his spouse Cathy. Stuart was preceded in death by two siblings, Ruth Dickmyer and Norma Mohar.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327, with a funeral service starting at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stuart’s memory to the church at the address listed above.  Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc. of New Freedom is assisting the family with the arrangements.
