Susan Hunt

Susan C. Hunt, 58, of York passed away peacefully at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA on Friday, August 30, 2019. Sue was one of 7 children born to Paul and Maureen (Sullivan) Chamberlain. Sue will be sadly missed by all, but her soul is at peace reunited with her Lord and Savior, her son Kevin Michael, and her parents. Sue is survived by her 6 siblings: Janice Bowman and her husband Frank, Paul Chamberlain and his wife Maureen, Mark Chamberlain, Lynne Zink and her husband Bill, Raymond Chamberlain, and Courtney Chamberlain; boyfriend Dale Morrison, and many nieces, nephews, adored cousins, and friends. Sue was formerly married to Jim Hunt for over 20 years and together they raised their son Kevin. Sue and Jim remained friends, and Jim has been by her side sharing a friendship of care and love. Sue’s passion in life was helping others. She had many skills including cosmetology and bookkeeping, and found her calling in her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved helping others.Sue will be remembered by her beautiful smile and free spirit. A funeral mass will be held on Friday September 6, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 1021 St. Mary’s Road, Pylesville, MD 21132 with Rev. A. Henry Kunkel, III officiating. Inurnment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, MD. Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, PA is assisting the family with services.
