Susan M. Schroeder, 70, of Maryland Line, Maryland went to be with Jesus unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.She was the loving wife of Richard H. “Rick” Schroeder, Jr. to whom she was married 50 years. Born in Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Elizabeth Bavis.Sue lived her life completely selflessly— giving to others, always caring and lending a hand to those in need, and always putting others before herself.She found joy in every circumstance, she loved her country, and had unwavering faith in the Lord.More than everything she loved playing with her grandkids who made up the entirety of her world— catching lightening bugs and frogs, baking, treasure hunting, and just being with them brought her tremendous joy. In addition to her husband Rick, she is survived by her three children— Jill, wife of Doug Evans, Amy, wife of Ken Burgess, and Jeff Schroeder and his wife Jessica; her six grandchildren— Hailey, Landon, Grey, Ella, Lily, and Jack; her sister Debbie Prochaska and her brother Bo Bavis.A private family memorial will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Immanuel Baptist Church, 21133 Barrens Road South, Stewartstown, PA 17363.
