Terrence Michael Haviland

Terrence Michael Haviland, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2022. He was the loving husband of 31 years to Terry (Tracey) Haviland. Michael was born on August 17, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland to Dorothy A. (Wilson) Haviland and the late Terrence M. Haviland, Sr. Michael worked for the last 27 years as a ground’s keeper for Bon Air Country Club in Glen Rock, PA. He loved playing golf and hunting with his son, Steven. He truly enjoyed taking rides on his Harley, but above all spending time with his family. Along with his beloved wife, Terry and his loving mother, Dorothy, he is survived by his children; Jennifer Holtzapple and her husband, Nate and Steven Haviland and his wife, Ashley; 2 adoring grand-daughters, ChevyLynand Madalyn, and a 3rd grand-daughter, Laylah, that is due in March; 2 dear sisters, Donna Russell (Glenn) and Christina Lippold (Mark); and nephew, Daniel Russell. Michael was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 10th, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, PA 17349. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor Rodney Gross. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association or The American Cancer Society.
