Terrie Lee Wood

Terrie L. Wood (Lewis) 66 of Glen Rock Pennsylvania passed on February 6, 2022 at her home. Terrie was born on April 6, 1955 in Baltimore Maryland.She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carroll "Doug" Lewis and Geraldine "Gerri" Lewis. Terrie was a 1973 graduate of Hereford High School. She enjoyed horses and lived life as an animal advocate.She will be remembered for the numerous animals she saved during her life. Terrie is survived by her high school sweetheart, Donald Wood (Glen Rock, PA)children Elizabeth Landis (Wood) and her husband Chad (York, PA), Emily Stranix (Wood) and her husband Zach (Jefferson,PA), cherished grandchildren Lukas, Levi, and Olivia, siblings Collette Anderson (Lewis) Glen Rock, Randall Lewis (Maryland), numerous nieces and nephews, her German Shepard Sadie, and Africa Gray Parrott Gerkin. A Viewing will be held Saturday, February 12th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 24 N. 2nd St. New Freedom, PA 17349. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in remembrance to Little Longears Miniature Donkey Rescue, 1079 Turkey Pit Rd New Oxford PA 17350 or Central PA Horse rescue 100 Spanglers Rd, Lewisburg PA.
