Terry L. Leisenring, Jr.

Terry L. Leisenring, Jr., 60, was transformed from his earthly life to his heavenly body on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Born in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son to the late Terry L. and Ellen M. (Waltemyer) Leisenring, Sr.

Terry is remembered by his sisters, Lori Webster and her partner Kimberly Harkcom, and Amy Leisenring; nieces and nephews, Allison Webster, Holly Webster, Evan Webster, and Matthew Spahr; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other extended family and friends.

Terry was loved by so many people everywhere he went. He had an infectious sense of humor. He was a true patriot of this country; he cherished the American Flag and the American Bald Eagle. You could often find him watching for Bald Eagles to fly over. Terry worked for 42 years at Silbaugh Memorials in Shrewsbury as their engraver and monument installer. He later worked for them in the sales department until he retired in 2023. He was a perfectionist and hardworking, taking great pride and respect in his work. You would often hear Terry refer to himself as being “old school” when it came to his work ethic and dedication.

He also enjoyed his trips to the mountains in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and his hunting trips. Terry enjoyed working with wood; usually making emblems and painting them when he was done. Everyone that knew Terry knew he was an avid Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Orioles fan. Terry was an amazing and funny person and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

All are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 6 – 8 PM at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, Pennsylvania 17363. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 5th at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
