Terry L. Stevens

Terry Stevens, Jefferson, Pa, passed away at his home on Friday, July 29th, 2022. He was the husband of the late Claudette R. (Kibler) Stevens with whom he shared 13 years of marriage until her death in 2010. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on Oct 24, 1963, to the late Steve L. and Lois (Reesman) Stevens, he graduated from Hereford High School in 1981 and obtained his American Welding Society certification from Airco Technical Institute in 1983.

Terry worked for Harley Davidson from 1996 until his retirement in 2019. A true “Jack of all Trades”, there was little Terry couldn’t figure out how to do on his own, except carpeting. Terry enjoyed fixing things around the house, riding Harleys, fishing, recreational shooting and competitive pistol shooting associated with IDPA and IPS, and tinkering with his '72 Monte Carlo.

He was a confirmed bachelor happily living with his dogs until he reconnected with and married his childhood best friend Warren’s sister, stepping up to raise her 5 daughters. He had a hard exterior but was a complete softy inside, never more evident then when his grandchildren were around.

In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his daughters Teresa Kibler, Erika Sell, Andrea Westbrook, Shannon Wood, and Samantha Wood, son Ben Wood, grandchildren Owen, Kolton, Avery, Caroline and June, sister Debbie (Bob) Strucko, nieces Christie (Matt) Ingalsbe and Kelly Strucko, extended family Jim (Maggie) Ledwell, Jolene Ledwell, Warren (Kristy) Kibler, Kathleen Kibler, and Ella (Richard) Hall, as well as many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his father Steve, wife, Claudette, brother-in-law, Fred, and best friend, John. Internment will be private at the Jefferson Cemetery. HartensteinCares.com
