Thelma M. Martin

Thelma M. Martin, 90, passed from this life on Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Paul Martin Sr. who passed in 2021. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John and Fanny (Martin) Kerns.

Surviving are five children, John N. Martin of Baltimore, Md., Mark D. Martin Sr. and his wife, Audrey H. of New Park, Timothy J. Martin of Delta, Thomas C. Martin and his wife, Royce of Mardela Springs, Md., and Tammy J. Caudle and her husband, Dennis of Little Elm, TX; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

Thelma was the last surviving member of the Kerns family. Preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Kerns, Barnett Kerns, Leroy Kerns, Dorman Kerns and sisters, Ida Jones, Lottie E Johnston, Doris Hitt, and Mary Fado. There will be a public visitation from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, October 21st, at Harvest Community Church, 2505 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD  21047, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
