Thomas W. Neal

Thomas W. Neal, 73, of Hampstead, MD passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Alberta “Snooks” (Perry) Neal. Born in York, PA he was a son of the late Edgar P. “Butch” Neal and Earline N. (Wertz) Neal. Tom worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for 16 years with Potts & Callahan, Inc and was a member of the local #37 IUOM, Baltimore and was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster, MD. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music and was in a bluegrass band named Blue Stone. Tom is survived by his daughter Stephanie M., wife of Jay Stickles of Glenville, PA; four grandchildren Kyle and wife Sabrina, Savannah, Tyler and Emma; two great-grandsons Blake and Bobby Stickles and two brothers Paul Neal and wife Nancy and James M. Neal and wife Carole. He was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda K. Neal and infant brother Edgar C. Neal. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 3PM from St. Paul’s Cemetery, 5010 St. Paul’s Rd., Millers, MD 21102.
