Thomas "Tomm" P. Forbes

Thomas “Tomm” P. Forbes, Jr.62, of Stewartstown, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. Tomm was the loving husband of Dawn M. (Damario) Forbes sharing 33 years of marriage. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany as a military baby, he was the son of Mary M. Macreadie and the late Thomas P. Forbes. Tomm graduated from Parkville Sr. High School, in Baltimore, MD. He worked for 35+years in the financial industry, most recently as a professional in RIA Compliance for Raymond James.He was an active Fire Police member of Eureka Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Co., York County Station 54, Stewartstown; honorably serving as President for several years. Tomm’s main passion was his family and friends. He never met a stranger and always enjoyed talking to anyone. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Dawn, are his two children; Amanda Forbes Stivelman and her husband David, and T.J. Forbes; two grandchildren, Thomas Forbes and Eliot Stivelman; mother, Mary M. Macreadie; stepfather, Don Macreadie; stepmother, Okkum Forbes; brother, James Forbes; and nephew, Zachary Forbes. Tomm was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Anne Forbes in 2017 and sister, Dawn Macreadie in 2021. There will be a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 1PM on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Eureka Volunteer Fire Department; 82 North Main St., Stewartstown, PA 17363 with Pastor David Burke officiating. Interment is private and at the convenience of his family. Food and Beverages to be provided and dress is casual.
