V. Darlene Kitzmiller

V. Darlene Kitzmiller, 84, formerly of Parkton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was the wife of Alan E. Kitzmiller with whom she shared 40 years together.

Darlene was born September 10, 1940 in Stewartstown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Amoss and Pauline (Brown) Hollingshead.

Darlene loved to be around people and never met a stranger. She loved all animals, especially her Pomeranians. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling to the shore.

Darlene is survived by her husband Alan, a daughter, Donna Blizzard (Bruce), step son Shawn Kitzmiller (Heather), step daughter Alicia Kitzmiller, eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Glenn Collins.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA; please meet at the cemetery gates at 10:45 a.m.
