Veronica Griffin Eichelberger

Veronica Griffin Eichelberger (Ronnie), 78, of York, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Born on September 10, 1945 in Reisterstown, MD; she was a daughter to the late James Joseph and Virginia S. (Shugars) Griffin.

Veronica graduated from Linden Hall School for Girls and then Towson University.

She sold real estate at the family owned brokerage and worked as an art teacher, teaching elementary students. She also worked in several administrative fields and as a librarian. Lastly, she retired from Baltimore County Circuit Court of Family Services as an office coordinator with over 20 years of service.

She is survived by her three children Emillie H. Albrecht and her husband James, Lauren Baumgartner and Lewis H. Eichelberger IV; three grandchildren Andrew Albrecht, Hannah Albrecht, and Alanna Baumgartner; a great granddaughter Isla Lee Albrecht; brother Paul Steven Griffin; two nieces Carolyn Yeager and Jennifer Whitfield.

She was also preceded in death by her brother David Ragan Griffin and nephew Edward Griffin.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at The Great American Saloon, 20 Dairyland Square, Red Lion, PA 17356 with a service from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
