Vicki Lee Wagner Poe, age 64, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hugh “Lenny” Poe, father Maurice Wagner, and mother Grace Keller Wagner. She is survived by her cherished daughters, Kelsey Beavers and her husband, Aaron, of Fawn Grove, PA, and Hailey Poe-Byrd and her husband, Brandon, of York, PA. Vicki was a devoted and cherished grandmother to her grandson, Hayden Beavers, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her baby granddaughter. Vicki is survived by her brother, Terry Wagner, and his wife, Ann; her sisters, Bonnie Martz and Beverly Wolfe, and her brother-in-law, Bob. She is also survived by her nephew, David Wolfe, his wife, Julianne, and their two children; her niece, Shannon Seitz, her husband, James, and their two children; her niece, Rachel Lane, her husband, Matt, and their four children,along with numerous extended family and friends. Vicki shared a deep bond with Kim Krafsky, Billy Clubb, as well as with Jarvis Green, his wife Amy, and their son, whom she considered her extended family.
A wonderful mother and grandmother, Vicki was deeply loved by those around her. She had an immense passion for animals, especially wolves, and was known for unexpectedly bringing home new animals, often surprising her loved ones with the latest addition. The family farm became a haven for injured and orphaned animals, a testament to her compassionate spirit. In addition to spending time with and caring for her animals, she also loved working in her flower gardens and going to auctions and sales with her loyal friends Maryann Ragland and Barb Wagner.
Vicki had an open-door policy- her home was a gathering place filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Whether hosting get-togethers or simply enjoying the company of loved ones, she made everyone feel welcome.
Vicki had a unique, vibrant personality that made her truly one of a kind. She was eccentric and full of life, witty, quirky, fiercely loyal, and full of unconditional love. She had a mischievous side that brought laughter to those lucky enough to know her. Vicki's love, kindness, and unforgettable spirit will be dearly missed but forever cherished by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, Pa 17363 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 18th at 11am; officiated by Rev. Melissa A. McDade. Interment will take place immediately following the service in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
