Victoria Ann Nicolaisen

Victoria Ann Nicolaisen, 50, passed from this life at home on Friday, September 6, 2024. Throughout her life, Victoria was a tireless worker, an amazing mom to her boys, and maintained her usual uplifting, inspirational sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life. Her strength and determination were extraordinary due to her love and devotion to her family: “Love you to the moon and back.” She was known by all as energetic, lively, and many would say that she lit up the room when she entered it. Victoria was loved deeply by her family and friends, and she will be missed immensely. She was a long-time employee of Sunrise Senior Living serving as a multi-talented regional human resources professional.  Her talents were also displayed via her self-taught, successful entrepreneurship.

Victoria was the loving wife of Tyler Nicolaisen and they were married on September 7, 2016.  Born in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of Robert Gross of Bel Air, MD, and the late Diana (Gross) Monaco.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her two sons, Hunter and Logan Sturgill, both of New Freedom, and her sister, Diana (Ryan) Latosh of Kingsville, MD.  Also, her brother Matthew (Tanya) Gross of Stewartstown, PA, and sister Amy (Richard) DeBolt of Jacobus, PA.  Surviving also are her father- and mother-in-law, Kees (Anne) Oversier of Glen Arm, MD and sister- and brother-in-law, Alyssa (Jonathan) Shedlosky  of Reisterstown, MD, also many beloved nieces and nephews.
